I can't get over her! Her simple yet elegant hair and make-up, the soft pink of her Calvin Klein dress, her perfectly shimmering tan. Honestly, can this girl be anymore amazing? Even though I'm not a huge fan of the dress, she pulls it off so wonderfully. And that's why she's always number one on my Hollywood list! ♥
Alice McCall - The Harlem Renaissance. February - April 2010.
Such beautiful pieces filling up the latest collection. These are my favourites...
1. Truth Will Out Dress. 3. My Heart Upon My Sleeve cami & My Way Of Walkin' shorts. 4. To Be Or Knot To Be dress. 5. Chosen By She cami & My Way Of Walkin' shorts. 6. Come What May dress. 7. Take A Stand blousse & Ignite The Light skirt. 8. Woe Is Me tee & Method To My Madness skirt.
1. Lea Michele looks stunning in a stand-out green Catherine Malandrino gown.
2. Diane Kruger in a mustard Jason Wu gown.
3. Just when Toni Collette looked to be my number one again, my eyes were drawn to the unnecessary tulle layers that ruined the amazing turquoise and gold beading on the bust of the Rafael Cennamo gown. Oh so close Toni!
I just had to post this amazing Burberry Prorsum dress again once I saw Jaimie King wearing it at the recent Art Of Elysium party in Beverly Hills, California. It's so, so pretty. It looks so cute on her, especially with her short blonde bob and gorgeous smile. The only thing I would have done differently... Add a belt (like Miley for Harper's Bazaar) and wore a more plain shoe, like an ankle boot (which I'm completely obsessed with at the moment). It's love.
To my surprise, Toni Collette is my best dressed at the 67th Annual Golden Globe awards for 2010. She wore a sparkling Elie Saab gown and looked absolutely radiant with her flawless skin, effortless messy bun with the perfect amount of jewels to compliment her gown. So beautiful! I had expected Diane Kruger or Chloe Sevigny to top my list like they normally do, but this time, I was rather disappointed. I'll be looking out for next time!
Chloe has and will always be an inspiration of mine. Each season incredible pieces of work come down the runway and wow me. But, it's the hair and make-up from this show that caught my eye. It's exactly what I like to see on models (and in every day life). Natural-looking make-up, flawless skin, soft eyes and lips and long, flowy, effortless hair. Too perfect! Love Love Chloe.
She's so gorgeous, especially without make-up. Her skin is always super amazing, glowing and tanned. Here she is going out to dinner with a friend looking nice, relaxed and low-key, yet super stylish at Cecconis Restaurant. If only we could all look like this on our day off!... Even in the most simplest of outfits.
I've been a little busy as of late, but it's now tennis season. My faaavourite time of year, hands down! I'm like a little kid on Christmas day whenever January rolls around. I usually attend the first four days and whenever else I can during the rest of the Australian Open, but work commitments and other plans have just gotten in the way this year unfortunately, so I'll have to tune in to the television a bit more. I did head down to Melbourne park on Monday for the first day, as it's tradition with me and my friends, but the weather was definately a huge let-down. Sunday should be much more enjoyable! Beer garden, one of my favourite bands, friends and plenty of tennis to surround us. Yay! See you there... ?
I have not yet warmed to the whole "hot pants" label, yet I'm totally digging the trend. "Hot pants" remind me of Kylie Minogue in those really terrible short gold ones. No deal! But, what I'm seeing on the catwalk and on the web are so, so good. Check these babies out for example. I wish I could tell you where to get them from, but for now, I'm clueless!
