Just For You.

Sweater: TopShop, Shorts: Maurie & Eve 'Bowie' in Borderline

So, I got a few requests to show you my outfit from the other day, inspired by Elle from They All Hate Us
and while I had always promised my perfectionist self that I would never post any photograph that wasn't of high quality,
nor that had not been captured by some semi experienced helper, I didn't want to let any of you down.
So here goes...

I'm all for this relaxed pyjama look.
Thanks Elle for forever inspiring my ever-growing personal style.
x.

Today's Outfit Inspo.

My outfit today has been inspired by Elle from They All Hate Us.
She really knows how to work her outfit around a pair of shorts so effortlessly.

Although I'm wearing my new off-white TopShop sweater tucked into my Maurie & Eve 'Bowie' shorts.
(Funnily enough, my hair is styled just like Elle's today aswell).
Hello, sunny Melbourne!

SWOON.

I think that everyone's slightly dying over this image of Christine Centenera
shot by the Stockholm Street Style team in Melbourne.

Those Haider Ackermann flats are something else!

Caroline Blomst In My Hometown.

Dream team Caroline and Daniel from Stockholm Street Style are in Melbourne for LMFF.
This is Caroline's outfits over the last few days of fashion week.

Her style is always so minimalistic and full of basics, which she pulls off so effortlessly every time.

It's time to get my basics in tip top order.

LMFF | L'Oreal Paris Runway 4.

DION LEE
CHRISTOPHER ESBER
THERESE RAWSTHORNE
MAGDALENA VELEVSKA
GARY BIGENI
JOSH GOOT

L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival - Runway 4.

I was literally on the edge of my seat on Monday night as the lights brightened, the music started pumping
and Dion Lee's name popped up on the giant screens.

He opened the show with a lot of bright orange and blue, stunning geometrical prints and sophisticated tailoring.
Following Dion Lee was National Designer award winner, Christopher EsberGary Bigeni
Magdalena VelevskaTherese RawsthorneJosh Goot and Ellery

I had the most incredible time and thought that this years Vogue show was that liiittle bit better than last years show.
(Despite a few heart-wrenching moments of models loosing their heels mid-runway).
I really love and am so proud of what's coming out of Australian fashion.

Who was your favourite?
Mine was definately Dion Lee and Ellery.

L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2012

On Monday night I attended L'Oreal Paris Runway 4 of the LMFF, presented by Vogue, featuring
Christopher Esber, Dion Lee, Ellery, Gary Bigeni, Josh Goot, Magdalena Velevska and Therese Rawsthorne.

Ellery closed the show with the most incredibly beautiful laser cut prints, double front slit skirts and peplums,
a whole lot of glowing gold, leather, studs and perfectly tailored cuts.

I went home dreaming of some of the pieces and the models' perfectly sleek hair.

Wildfox | Magical Creatures.

"Magical Creatures"

Wildfox introduces the story of "3 very different, magical girls who live in our favourite Wildfox cities".
Ella, a fairy from Los Angeles, Cherie, a gypsy from Paris, Dahlia, a witch from New York.

Created by 'Magical Creatures' author and Wildfox story-teller, Francesca Lia Block and the girls from Wildfox, Emily and Kimberley.
You can read the whole story, meet the characters and see more inspiration for the collection at Magical Creature.

One again, the illustrations are completely flawless.
So, which Wildfox girl are you?

LMFF Outfit Inspired.

Feeling outfit inspired for LMFF with Aimee Song.

How does one girl suit every single style, texture, colour, structure, literally every single little detail?
She's another one that makes me want to be more experimental with my dressing.
I think my first challenge will be - my own interpretation of the last look.
