Christine Centenera Update.

The latest on Christine Centenera.

Fashion Week all over the globe is my favourite time, purely because I get to see what CC has to wow us with.

1. Wearing an Ellery blazer from the latest collection shown at NYFW.

2. In a Ksubi baroque print peplum top and skirt.

3. Wearing a Dion Lee shirt and Proenza Schouler skirt.

4. At the Josh Goot store opening in Sydney wearing Josh Goot, of course.

She seems to have found this asymmetrical shape skirt from every brand,

 which I'm kind of loving at the moment.

Sass & Bide

'L O V E  S H A D Y'

Our beloved Sass & Bide showed again this year at London Fashion Week.
With their mix of masculine vs. feminine in the use of the tuxedo and floaty dresses,
signature embellishments in gold, silver, grey and bright orange, origami-inspired details and cut-outs, beading
and those gorgeous flower accessories that have my name written all over them.

This was more of a striped back collection as opposed to the more tribal influence seen from the girls in their past collections.
While embellishment still made a huge impact, their was less of that and predominately less colour in their Spring collection this year.
I guess that is partly due to their idea of wanting to show the more "traditional modernist" and through their inspiration being "born on a trip to Buenos Aires and Peru",  but being "more about the energy and feeling those places than the aesthetics" than anything else.

This is probably one of my favourite Sass & Bide collections yet.
I've definately been inspired by a few of these dresses and individual pieces for my sister's engagement party coming up in a few weeks time.

L.A. Venice beach. Basketball courts.

Kym debuted her Spring 2012 - '13 collection at NYFW alongside fellow Aussie Christopher Esber.

Her ten looks showcased her signature combination of textiles, including metallics, leather, silk wool and mesh 

and a colour palette representative to basketball, of orange, burgundy, gold offsets, silver and white.

My jaw hit the desk as soon as I laid eyes on those sparkly shorts. Woah.

I'm loving the relaxed sporty vibe.

It makes me want to get super casual for Spring by throwing on a loose Bassike tee, a pair of Ksubi shorts and some white Converse.

But then mixing it with a light knit or a soft blazer when I feel like dressing it up just that 'lil bit.

So this is what happens when Lana Del Rey and Christine Centenera get together.

U T T E R  P E R F E C T I O N .

The styling is so whimsical, feminine and stunningly pretty. 

It completely epitomises Lana's personal style and her soulful lyrics that are full of love and lust.

I actually want to look how she looks in the last shot, every day.

Everything is so magical: the lace trimmed shorts, the knit, the flowers in her hair, her messy braid.

I think that the bluebird is what makes it that little bit more special though.

Featuring pieces from the Dion Lee resort 2013 collection Lunar Tides.

I'm still completely mesmerised by the neoprene braiding, the intricate digital prints and perfect mix of illuminating neon and soft pastel.

His attention to detail is like no other.

And the thoughts behind his inspiration - like the exploration between oceanic tides and gravity - is genius.

Don't you just wish you could own just a little bit of Dion?
