We all know Karla Spetic for her soft, delicate, feminine designs and
great use of stunning photographic prints and a colour palette full of the best pastel shades.
Yet, her new venture takes on the world of swimwear in a different way.
This label is distinguished by it's masterful cuts, clean lines, visual prints and adventurous silhouettes.
It has been described as "a juxtaposition of the technological age and ancient Egypt; the 'Age of Pyramids'
meets a Pirelli calendar, but with more bite"- and it's exactly that.
The 2013/14 collection is inspired by Egypt and the pyramids and a world of ruin.
It tells the story of a contemporary queen reigning supreme over her fallen empire.
The collection is full of retro-inspired deep-V one-pieces, triangle bikini tops, crop tops and high-waisted bottoms,
which are proudly Australian designed, digitally printed and made.
All pieces are sold separately and will be available to purchase through select stockists and
online the label's e-boutique www.swim.karlaspetic.com this coming November.
