Woodhouse Clothing is a premier retailer of designer menswear in the UK,
stocking high end brands including Hugo Boss, C.P. Company, J. Lindeberg, Lacoste + Nudie Jeans Co.
Woodhouse posed the question, "How do other countries that don't wear a traditional costume mark out their individualism
through the way they dress, and are there any differences between us all in terms of what floats our boat fashion wise?"
To help gain some insight into their very thought provoking question, Woodhouse spoke to 9 influential fashion bloggers
from around the entire globe to find out what styles are big in their own country and to suss out their personal fashion secrets.
I was the extremely lucky one chosen to represent Australia on the Woodhouse world map amongst 8 others
from the USA, England, France, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Denmark.
Surprisingly, it was a little harder than I had initially anticipated, questioning myself on Australian style
- what we, Australians, wear on a daily basis, what trends we follow and the hardest of them all, what our
traditional costume is, if any? But I think that I pinpointed our relaxed style honestly and profusely, but skipped the part
where I should have mentioned that I think that Australians are up there with the most fashion forward nations around!
Feel free to let me know your thoughts on Australian style. I'd love to hear them!
