New In | French Connection.

Animal tee's and sweaters are trending in a big way right now, stemming from
high fashion labels such as Christopher Kane and Givenchy.
Thanks to French Connection, I have now joined that posse with my brand new 'Sequin Fox Tee'.

For an every day look, I have styled mine with a pair of distressed denim jeans (not pictured),
cream faux fur gillet and a pair of white and silver plated sandals.
For a summery weekend look, I can see myself taking the effortless approach and
half-tucking it into a pair of denim cut-offs aswell.
It is a subtle yet slightly glamourous staple to add to your wardrobe.

Available online at French Connection in black and grey now.

Campaign | Kristi Rose SS '13/14.

Kristi Rose SS '13/14 campaign.

Sydney-based designer, Kristi Rose is emerging as one of the newest designers to watch.
She started her self-titled label in 2012, drawing inspiration from local art and culture. She combines
practicality with a fashion forward edge, a flirtatious attitude and playfulness.

Kristi's designs embody a signature style of youthful and functional beauty, distinguished by it's flattering silhouettes, impeccable
quality and feminine detailing, aswell as through impressive technique and exclusive digital prints.
Her time at admired labels such as Tigerlily and Zimmermann have obviously been well-noted and ingrained in her design process.

The latest collection titled "Greased Lightnin'" is one for all of the girls!
Featuring silk shirts and shorts combo's, dresses, jumpsuits, skirts and swimwear in bright
floral, mesh and lama prints, as well as classic black and white.
It's the type of collection that makes you excited for warmer weather and drinks by the beach with a bunch of friends.
My picks: 'Peachy-Keen Jelly Bean' playsuit, 'Hound Dog' shorts and the matching 'We Go Together' t-shirt.

Keep a look out for my interview with the designer, Kristi Rose coming soon!

Look Book | Cameo The Label.

"Grand National"

Grand National is Cameo's best collection yet.
The collection is an ode to Australia and our beautiful landscape with the use of native
Australian flora throughout, represented in the 'Botanical' print.
Cameo designers Kathryn Forth and Siham Almawey say that their label is "characterised by it's directional,
experimental and visionary designs" and that it "sets out to create an innovative way to dress."
Collection after collection I am draw to the bold silhouettes and shapes of their dresses and tops and the carefully selected colour palettes.

Cameo has fast become one of my most loved Australian fashion labels.
It's safe to say that I have fallen head over heels for the 'White Sky' dress'We Have Love' bomber
and the 'Winter Wind' dress in botanical. I would be so happy to own any one of these pieces,
which makes it all the more difficult to pick just one to start my collection.

Erin Wasson For Elle AUS.

Erin Wasson for ELLE Australia December 2013.

When we think of Erin Wasson, we immediately think of her ultimate cool status and her mind-blowing effortless style.
ELLE describes the model turned actress, turned jewellery designer, turned stylist and gallerist as "Fashion's Wild Child".
Her natural tomboy style is unforgivingly transferred into her work as a model, as she oozes confidence in everything she wears - a pair of boyfriend
jeans and a loose tee or a skin-baring dress that shows off her tattooed limbs. It is incredibly hard to believe that she doesn't maintain her
style one bit, that she is just simply being herself. Oh, to look that good without trying!

Furthermore, the feature talks deeper about Erin's down to earth personality, her jewellery collection, including a bunch from her label LowLuv,
her love for rescuing dogs, her tomboy upbringing in Dallas, Texas
and how after work every day she goes home to be with her dogs instead of heading out.
Elle also tells you how you can be Ms Wasson by stealing her style this summer.
She lists her "All-time Wardrobe Must-Haves" as a black pair of jeans, black leather trousers, a white t-shirt,
a folky button-down, cowboy boots, a black sweater and a really good fucked-up vintage fur jacket.
Whereas mine right this second would be that $11,750 Chanel perfume bottle clutch she is holding up above!

December Lust List.

So Christmas is now only a few weeks away, and with all of the sales on at the moment and the
abundance of advertising for the holiday period, my head is not only all over the place with ideas on
what gifts to get others, but with lingering thoughts on whether or not I should treat myself to a little present this year.
You know, just to end the year on a slightly exciting note? Or that's what I'm telling myself!

I did a little mental shopping on Desordre last night and put down all of the things that I have on my lust list at the
moment from some of my all-time favourite Australian labels including, Ellery, Dion Lee and Aje.

1. Ellery 'Vitreous' hot pant + Josh Goot 'Cross Over' white crop
2. Ellery 'Yesterday's' halter dress
3. Ellery 'Vreeland' skirt + Dion Lee II 'Veil' shirt white
Dion Lee 'Twist Front' black + Dannika Zen 'Centuria' leather skirt
4. Dion Lee 'Zip Form' Dress
5. Dion Lee Line II 'Veil' tank white + Dion Lee 'Facet' pant
6. Dion Lee Line II 'Lost' black skirt + 'Veil' tank white
7. Dion Lee Line II 'Twist Front' moontide + 'Zip' side pant
8. Dion Lee Line II 'Veil' shirt white + 'Lost' skirt white
9. Aje 'Jasmine' dress

Now the hard task of narrowing the list down.
Santa, if you feel like helping a sista out, please feel free to put some of these items in my stocking.
Big love, C. x.
