Edita Vilkeviciute for Scandinavia SSAW.

Edita Vilkeviciute for Scandinavia S/S/A/W magazine
for their Spring/Summer 2015 campaign.
"It Will Never Be Over For Me"
Ph: Hasse Nielsen

This is one of my favourite editorials in a little while. It oozes those MAJOR lazy sunday vibes.
Which turns out to be quite fitting this Sunday afternoon, cosy-ing up watching Kyrgios vs. Seppi in the Australian Open.
(I still crave Edita's effortless-looking hair. Big time. Always and forever).

New | TRIANGL LILY + BAMBI Swim.

Introducing the latest style to recently be released from the Triangl team this summer.
The LILY bandeau neoprene bikini is a brand new take on the already popular Winnie style. It comes
in three exciting colour combos - Strawberry Kiss, Aqua Punch and Blueberry Burst.
The structured bandeau top features flexible boning and a functional zip down the front,
aswell as a back clasp fastening. (To keep flashing accidents at bay.)

You can shop all three styles online exclusively now.

Model: Bridget Malcolm | Location: Bondi | Photography: Darren McDonald

The all-new BAMBI neoprene mesh bikini comes in three colour ways also -
It is a take on the Ollie and Black Neon styles; featuring 3 colours in 1, instead of one predominant colour.
The bra style top has adjustable straps and a back clasp fastening and a pair of hipster bikini bottoms
in a bright and fun colour.
Excitingly enough, this particular bikini comes with a Triangl beach bag.

You can shop this style online exclusively now.

Best Dressed at the Golden Globes.

Best Dressed: Sienna Miller in Miu Miu

Runner Up: Diane Kruger in Emilia Wickstead

It's been awhile since we have seen Sienna take on the red carpet, and let me tell you it was one I have
anticipated for awhile now, as I am a huge fan of her style. I love that she still remains dedicated to
her well-publicised 'boho' roots, even at these prestigious Hollywood events.
My most favourite element of her dress is the detail down the plunged neckline and the sheer back
detail. While I do feel that the chosen material has the potential to look matronly and outdated, the
embellishments on the gown balance it out and with her flawless wavy cropped hairstyle and natural
make up look, the entire look head to toe is worthy of being Best Dressed at this years Golden Globes.

I have selected Diane Kruger as the runner-up in the Best Dressed sakes. I thought that she looked
super classy and elegant in her figure-hugging sparkling silver gown. She never fails to disappoint,
always choosing the right dress for every occasion and pulling it off so immaculately, down to hair and
make-up. I am constantly baffled by the fact that she styles every single red carpet event herself.
No help from a stylist! Double round of applause from me.

Let me know who your best and perhaps worst dressed was...

Thanks to Harper's Bazaar for the imagery.

Q & A with Yooneui.

Firstly, I would like to introduce Lilian Jang
the artist behind these beautiful fashion illustrations.

I recently commissioned Lilian to produce an illustrated version of one of my most loved and most
influential outfits worn by my style icon, none other than Kate Bosworth. (I believe it was she whom
ignited my admiration for all-grey combos.) For weeks and most likely months, I had stalked Lilian's
Instagram feed (@_yooneui) and starred jaw-dropped at these figures she had created from a sole
photograph. I had longed for a new art piece to display in my bedroom, an illustration - I thought would
be perfect, given my love for fashion drawing and my university background. So once I found out that
it was possible to get a custom illustration done, I was over the moon!

I was recently lucky enough to interview Lilian Jang to find out more
about her and to share her mind-blowing talent with you...

1. Name, Age, City...
My name is Lilian Jang, I am 20 years old and I live in New York City.

2. Has fashion illustration always been a skill for you?
Fashion illustration has not always been a skill for me. I started doing fashion illustration a little
over a year ago and I was a terrible illustrator! I had to continue drawing in order to improve.
(There's hope for us yet!)

3. Are you currently studying at school?
I am currently studying fashion design at Parsons the New School for Design.

4. What or who are your influences when it comes to creating a new piece?
My sister, Salene Jang, is my inspiration to creating new pieces. She is an illustrator and she never
stops coming up with new ideas.

5. What tools; markers, pens, paper, etc. do you use?
A lot of people ask me if I use watercolour but I actually use markers! I use Micron pens and
Prismacolor markers on marker paper.
(There's the dirt for you fellow illustrators wanting the goss!)

6. Who has been your favourite to illustrate?
My clients have been my favourite to illustrate. I enjoy illustrating celebrities, models, and fashion
bloggers but I love getting to know my clients personally throughout the process, and I love
illustrating people who appreciate my work.

7. Who would you love to notice your work?
I would love to be noticed by people who appreciate fashion illustration.

8. Where would you like to see yourself career-wise in the near future?
I hope to work in the womenswear department in the fashion industry after I graduate from Parsons.

9. What do you have in store for yourself in 2015?
In 2015, I am planning to work harder to pursue my dream as a designer and to travel
as much as I can!

Keep updated with Lilian's work via her Instagram page, which is growing by the second
And head over to her website where you can purchase any of her existing illustrations, or like me,
have one custom made as a gift for yourself or a loved one.

x.

New In | A'OK Espadrilles.

I predict many summer days will be spent in these A'OK espadrilles.

The pastel shades from the Cote d'Azur Collection reflects the liveliness of the French Riviera. The
pastel pink, more specifically, is inspired by the hazy pink hue in the sky after sunset.
Each pair of espadrilles are made from canvas with an inner sole made out of rope. And for durability
the outer sole is made of rubber, to keep them everlasting during summer.

I LOVE: their comfortability, the baby pink tone, the small A'OK tag detail
on the side and the cute little calico bag that they come in.
