Blogger Style | Maja Wyh.

Maja Wyh is my latest style crush.

Her style is a little bit 'Mary-Kate Olsen' in her ultra-cool bohemian days and I like it.
The over-sized tops and the layering is what appeals to me most. It's the kind of dressing that I would
not think to style on myself. Maja has the 'effortlessly cool' vibe down pat. For awhile she was that girl
in the images that I saw everywhere, forever lusting over her denim combos and coats. Now that I have
finally discovered her blog, it's safe to say that I will be frequenting it quite a bit.

Best Dressed VMA's.

Kim Kardashian was my pick for Best Dressed at the VMA's the other day.

I don't love everything that Kim does, but this is so different and in some way, so stripped back from
anything she has done before on a red carpet before. While I agree with most of you, that woah, there is
a little bit too much 'boob', I think that this Balmain number is a winner and looks incredible on her.
Her hair and make up fit in perfectly. That subtle, sultry, almost-natural skin and her purposely dishevelled locks.
I mean, how good does her hair look at this length, this messy?

French Connection Chadstone Launch.

Last Thursday evening my bff Alice and I attended the #canthelpmyselfie launch party
at the brand new French Connection store in Chadstone.

We had a blast browsing the new collection, sipping on champagne and getting our nail-art
done by the girls from the ever-popular I Scream Nails.

Thank you to Rachael, Stef and the FC team for having us down and making our night!

Dion Lee Line II SS14.

I became fond of the 'shirt/jumper tied around the waist' look a few years ago now, when Elin Kling
made a wrap skirt out of a grey jersey sweatshirt. Don't ask me why, but it always reminds me of that.
I feel like Elle Ferguson (They All Hate Us) has brought back the trend and now everyone from every
day people, to bloggers and even fashion designers are taking it and running with it.

Dion Lee's Spring/Summer 2014 Line II collection features shirts, denim and leather tied around the waist heavily.
With a sports-luxe feel running through his signature sophisticated yet tomboy aesthetic,
Lee is definately reinventing casual dressing.

It's exciting to see what his creative mind is capable of, season after season.
