Mr and Mrs Bartel, Part Deux.

Part deux of Nadia and Jimmy Bartel's exquisite wedding.

The collection of photographs that they have of their day, shot by their photographer Kristen Cook,
is just beyond beautiful and one that they will surely look back on and think, "Damn, our wedding was breathtaking!"
Their day could not have looked more perfect. They seemed to have a constant bright smile on their faces the whole
time, and if you watch the wedding video, you will see exactly that, plus so much more to make your heart flutter.
Watch the very picturesque day unfold right here, thanks to Purple Ribbon Weddings.
I think I may have possibly watched it a good seven times already. That dress and Jimmy's cheeky grin is everything!

Make sure you take a peek at Part One of the wedding to see all of my favourite 'getting ready'
shots and close ups of Nadia's J'Aton gown, aswell as the couple saying their "I do's".
Congratulations once again to the adorable couple!

From The Archives | Ashley Olsen.

Ashley Olsen in Marie Claire September issue, 2009.

Over the years this editorial has always stood out to me. The countless moments searching the Olsen
twins style in Google and these images would always pop up every time. The more sophisticated and
girly one of the two is stripped down to a more natural state. Lounging around in undergarments, a
knitted jumper and a silk feather-trimmed dress/robe.

In the article, then twenty-three year old Ashley confesses that she thinks that "you're either born with a
sense of style or you're not. Either you care or you don't. And we (Mary Kate) love fashion. When we were going
to NYU, I think that was the first time we were aware of the power of our personal style. Not the power of it,
but the result of it." No, I'd say the power of it, Ashley! I don't think that there is a girl out there that doesn't wish
they were Mary Kate or Ashley and had access to their wardrobe. "Mary Kate and I don't think about fashion as
these clean, beautiful objects. We just kind of wear it and live in it" - and make it their own.

Mr and Mrs Bartel.

Congratulations to Nadia and Jimmy Bartel!

The adorable pair recently tied the knot on the 1st of February in a breathtaking ceremony at
Baie Wines Estate, overlooking Port Phillip Bay on the Bellarine Peninsula.
Nadia wore the most dream-like J'aton Couture gown made from sheer silk jersey, dripping in luxurious
glass pearls and studded ceramic beads on caged embroidered mesh. Her bridesmaids in current season
Dion Lee, while Jimmy and the boys looked dashing in their suits from Shoreditch.
The team from The Style Co. did the most beautiful job of decorating both the ceremony and outdoor marquee,
where the friends and family gathered afterwards for a night of fun, laughter and dancing. The prettiest white blooms
formed an archway where the pair said their "I do's" and floral arrangements wrapped around wooden chairs at
the ceremony. Draped leafy blooms were also carried into the evening, hanging from the marquee's
ceiling aswell as clusters of overflowing vases that adorned the long rows of tables inside.

To me, this is as close to perfect as a wedding can get. Visually it is so, so beautiful.
The location, the styling and more than anything, the dress, is everything and more.
Because there is just way too many lust-worthy photographs, I have split this into two posts,
so keep your eye out for the second instalment very soon.
