The White Serpent

Can you believe that it's been five years since Lover has been shown at RAFW?

The collection was inspired by Chinese mythology.

Designers Susien Chong and Nic Briand brought to life the beauty of romance "tempered by tragedy".

French lace in shades of red, white and black were seen in the form of short, delicate dresses 

as well as long, romantic sheer gowns toughened only by a bold red lip and statement heels.

I loved the beige lace dress with the bright pop of the red bodysuit underneath.

So delicate. So perfect. So Lover.

Friend Of Mine | RAFW | Day One.

Friend of Mine S/S '11

A heap of white, black, burnt orange, beige, grey, purple and even snake skin prints

are what made their way down the Friend of Mine runway.

The inspiration behind the latest collection comes from 'Performance' starring Mick Jagger and Anita Pallenberg.

"Expect lots of gossamer, thin suede, leather, lace, snakeskin and attitude".

And that we did!

Alexandra Spencer from 4th and Bleeker styled the show perfectly.

Zimmermann Spring/Summer '11

Halcyon Days.

Nicky and Simone's lastest collection exudes calm and tranquility.

They have taken inspiration from past summer vacations.

It is all about crisp whites and neutrals, lace, interesting silhouettes, clever embroidery adding structure,

earthy textures and bright pops of colour through that iconic print.

There's so many pieces that I'm in love with.

I'm so happy to see Zimmermann back to that adorable, sexy, summery style!

Bec & Bridge | RAFW | Day One.

Bec & Bridge Spring/Summer 11/12.

Violet Haze.

The collection has taken inspiration from the late 70's in New York and it's ultimate muse, Lauren Hutton.

The soft fabrics, bright, playful prints, longer lines and looser fits of the pieces are all about relaxed sexiness.

A big focus in this show was the Bianca Adventurer - a fedora which is the result of a collab with Australian label Akubra.

It comes in the most gorgeous shades of lilac, khaki, blush and magenta.

Definately a must have this coming spring!

Let's just say I can't wait to see these babies in stores.

I completely died over Becky and Bridget's cute little outfits. Their killer heels are on my wish list!

Abbey Lee Numero Cover.

The gorgeous Abbey Lee in that ever-so-popular Lanvin dress

for the cover of Numero #123 magazine May 2011.

The Logies Best Dressed.

Jessica Marais was best dressed at this years Logies in my eyes.

She wore a gorgeous white gown by couture label J'Aton.

The detail on this dress is so stunning.

Other favourites of the night were Lee Furlong in (?), 

Zoe Ventoura in Rachel Gilbert and Erin McNaught in Karla Zampatti.

The Royal Wedding.

William and Kate's Royal Wedding was the cutest thing I've ever witnessed.

Everything was so perfect.
