Wittner SS'13 PR showing.
I was lucky enough to visit the Wittner HQ in Melbourne last month to take a peek at their latest pre season collection called, "Day On A Boat".
The newest range is divided into 3 - the usual Wittner label, Zoe Wittner Design and the newest and soon to be available Bertie, by Wittner.
"The collection embraces a directional & brave move forward.
High contrast black & white. Soft neutrals. Splashes of glistening metallic & a bold serving of mandarin."
The Wittner range showed a lot of black and white combinations, neutral colours in tan, white and
beige, with a wonderful bold pop of mandarin throughout. You can look forward to seeing designs including,
chunky heels, perforated leather and metallic detailing, with a lot of perfectly placed ankle buckles.
The Zoe Wittner range was full of monochromatic designs, including tribal prints, aswell as all-white creations.
The ever-so-popular 'Bayard' heel will make a comeback in white, which will no doubt be a hit all over again.
And lastly, the new and exciting addition to the Wittner range, Bertie. The less expensive younger brother
of the Wittner family, you could say. This collection stood out quite a bit for me as it really is an every day wear collection,
with a mix of sandals, loafers and heels and the strong colour palette coming through from the SS range.
My top picks from the entire showing is 'Ryge' from the Wittner range and the wooden wedge from Bertie.
NEED. LOVE. WANT.
The SS'13 collection will make it's way into stores between July - October.
